Dramatic Puyol header sends Spain through to final
Eventual champions Spain got a dramatic winner from defender Carles Puyol to progress to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Final.
The Barcelona centre-back powered a header home in the 73rd minute to break the deadlock against Germany in Durban.
Spain had been frustrated for much of the match by a well-organised German side, but they eventually found a way through thanks to Puyol's intervention.
The win sets up a final clash with the Netherlands, who beat Uruguay in the other semi-final.
